Queen Bee ("dominant reproductive female") – ME, obviously, the only qualifying bee in the hive

Drone Bee ("has big strong wings, which are used for the mating flight (whoa – let's keep it g-rated please), after mating they are taken care of by the worker bees (sounds good to me) – Derek

Worker Bees – Jacob, Caleb, and Samuel

We make up a very effective colony, if I do say so myself.

All kidding aside, I love to see my boys work and work hard.  I'm grateful for Derek who is such an amazingly hard worker in everything he does, and who teaches my boys how to work.  I hope that together we can not only teach them how to work, but teach them how to feel good about the work that they do.

Bravo! My parents made me work hard as a kid, and I grew up knowing I could do anything I put my mind to. And in the process, I bonded with my parents while working on these tough projects. I think too many kids these days don’t know how to work, are afraid to get their hands dirty, or are just too lazy to try. Bravo for being such good parents!
