On our way home from Utah, we passed through the SW corner of Colorado, headed for Santa Fe. I was driving and all of the sudden we passed one of the most beautiful sights I had ever seen. A HUGE field of sunflowers. It was beautiful! I felt like we were in Tuscany. And I told Derek, if I see another one, I’m pulling over for some pictures. About 3 minutes later, we did…and I did.

Beautiful photos. How is it that the plants are all about the same size? Amazing. It is as if they are all saying, “hello”. What an appropriate new heading . . .you start to count, and there is no end.

Love those photos MER; On our return trip from Door County in Upper Wisconsin recently Drew, Ryan and I came across sunflower fields like these. Such a sight the way they are all perfectly headed in the same direction! Hugs…
