Caleb's birthday was on the same day that we left for our vacation, so we celebrated with a family party on the Sunday before with a tie-dye cake and presents. He was excited to have Nana & Pops, Uncle Mike & Aunt Liv and baby Reid join us. Mike got him a cross-bow with suction cups that was quite the hit (literally), Pops got him an old car (that he once had but that Samuel broke) and we got him a Paper Jamz guitar (which makes plenty of noise). He was pretty happy with the neon cake and with the attention.
On his actual birthday we made a good breakfast and he got to open more presents (from Papa C and Mimi and Aunt Lisa) and one more present from us – Just Dance 2 for the Wii. They enjoyed playing that while I packed, which was perfect! We sure love our "middle man".
