Every year I buy a water camera for us to throw in the swim bag. I love to get pics of the kids underwater. It started when Jacob was a toddler and was starting to go under – it was so fun to capture his sweet expression as he floated in trusting us to scoop him back out. I did the same with Caleb, and this summer I tried to capture that with Samuel. He LOVES to swim and we would have to be careful not to mention the "s" word outloud otherwise you would have a 2-year old asking "swimmie?" a dozen times.
He would fall in, arms out, holding his breath, with a smile on, waiting to be captured and brought up for air. And even if you weren't watching, he just knew someone would bring him up. SO trusting. SO completely oblivious to any danger or fear. SO delighted with himself. It was so fun to watch.
