It takes a village of products to combat the allergy attacks that have occured in our home this week. Derek and Samuel are symptom free, but me and Caleb and Jacob are suffering. Jacob's on Nasonex, but has a barking dog cough (thus the cough drops). Caleb is congested and has daily headaches. I take an Allegra every night and then usually add a generic Claritin in the morning. I'm supposed to use Veramist, but hate nasal sprays. Instead I do the neti pot, or my personal favorite, the Sinus Rinse with saline solution in distilled water. It's a sinus irrigation system. It's not fun, but it's not painful either. And you can totally tell a difference…for a few hours at least. The weather has been BEAUTIFUL, but it brought with it something in the air that is disturbing our good health!

We’ve got plenty of that to go around… The Neil Med Sinus Rinse- what does it feel like? I did it to Brock tonight and he panicked. But man did it get a lot of gunk out… more than you wanted to know, I am sure!!!

Ahhh, you’re not the only one! Eric’s been bombarded this year. Must be some bad stuff in the air. And can I hear an amen to the Neti Pot. Greatest invention. I just can’t find relief without it, even if, when things are bad, it only works for a couple hours before needing another go at it. Gotta love being human and allergy prone! 🙂 Good luck!
