Last week I was SO busy with Gourmet Club that I didn’t know how I was going to pull-off our traditional Valentine’s dinner of chicken parmesan and strawberry soup. So I sweetly asked for a rain-check of one week. The boys in my life pondered on it for awhile (especially Caleb who LOVES my chicken parmesan) and decided they would allow it (gee thanks guys!). So this past Thursday I fulfilled my obligation and we enjoyed our usual tradition. And it was just as sweet and fun as it would have been on the actual day…even more so because my mom could join us!
Then afterwards we went to see Jacob sing in the 2nd grade music program.
Caleb made cards for everyone…mine was, of course, hearts; Derek’s was tools; Jacob’s was sports; and Samuel’s had a bottle and a binky. So cute that little Caleb!
