WE made it!

We’re 1/2 way there.

1/2 way done.

1/2 way to seeing our new son.

I should say it’s bittersweet…that I’m sad that the first 20 weeks of what will probably be my last pregnancy are over.  But I’m not!  I hated all 20 of them!

But I’m happy now.  I’m feeling better.  Baby is doing flips and kicks and all kinds of acrobatics and we’re all enjoying that.

And I’m getting excited to welcome a baby to our home.   A new brother for the boys.  A new life.  I’m actually looking forward to the next 20 weeks.  All of the holidays and cooler weather and a growing belly. 🙂

And I’ve been eyeing nursery bedding.  Derek looks at me a little funny with this selection.  The men at my house are "all boy".  There’s no gray when it comes to their manlihood (or so they like us to think).  We’ve always had BLUE nurseries, primary colors…MANLY colors.  But this time, I just want something "baby-like"…neutral.  Not to diminish any manliness, just to enjoy the softness of baby-dom.  We’ll see.  You can take a peek here (click on it).  I love that yellow chenille and the black-and-white gingham.

So…here’s to 20 more weeks of anticipation.

I love the colors of the bedding. Very clean and fresh looking. I wanted new bedding for Matthew, but just used the same old stuff. I wish I had gotten the new stuff and really relished my last nursery for my last baby. Sounds like fun to decorate a nursery now that you’re feeling better. Let me know if you need any help.
