Nothin’ important to blog about…just ranting today.

Caleb told me yesterday that he was almost a grown-up…because he’s getting a little bit of blonde hair on his fingers.  "I’m almost like Dad!!!" he exclaimed.  Funny!

Was reading the news this morning and am amazed at the relevant topics in the news today:

Britney Spears is having another baby.  Heaven help us.  And that’s after 2 DCFS visits to her home already.  I’m sure she’s a very sweet girl…but that dude she’s married to…needs some serious help.

David Blaine fails attempted record.  Is this the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever seen?!  I mean, come on!  Swimming in a bubble for days and trying to hold your breath under water for 9 minutes.  That’s just plain stupidity and recklessness.  Someone get that man a real job.

Tom Cruise and his girlfriend Katie.  How long before we see her on Oprah talking about how controlling he really is?  He’s a menace to our society, if you ask me.  Poor girl has to live in his narcissistic shadow.

Well…I’m sure by now I’m sounding a little bitter and cynical…it must be my mood today.  But, honestly, isn’t there more important news in the world…tell me about Iraq or South Korea or something relevant.

Enough ranting and raving from me.  Gotta go send the mother’s day gifts, visit 3 stores about donated balloons for the Kindergartners, make an animal mask for Caleb’s music class, cook for meal club, attend the PTA Council Meeting to learn how to be a Historian and well, the list goes on.  Have a good day!
