(disclaimer: Derek has been gone all day which may lead to the rather harsh tone of the following post…)

1.  Mer has a stomach bug of some sort.

2.  Jacob has strep throat for the 3rd time in 4 months.

3.  Caleb has a mouth that runs and runs and runs…leaving me and Jacob irritable and exhausted.

Boy is he cute!  And boy he’s usually very pleasant and fun to be around.  But the last few days he doesn’t seem to stop talking, whining, crying or telling jokes that don’t make sense.  Make him stoooopppp!  "mom, mom, the phone’s ringing, mom.  mom, where’s my shoes? mom, i gotta go potty.  mom, mom, did you know that caleb and cake…they rhyme together.  mom, knock, knock…mom, i need a napkin.  mom, i’ll help you cook.  mom, i’ll help you with your christmas cards, mom can i cut?  MOM…I DON’T LIKE BROCCOLI…mom, can i have some candy…MOM, MOm, Mom, mom, mom?!?"  And that’s just in the last 5 minutes.
