…Florence, Clara, Brooke…What do these names have in common, you ask?  Well, you know the first two…famous nurses.  The third is also a nurse…one that is becoming famous in our house!

Jacob has been to see the school nurse three times in the last week.  The first two were for head bumps and today’s was because he said he was "feeling warm".  I wasn’t convinced though, so I decided to press him on it.  Upon further review and discussion, it was concluded that he went to the nurse because "she is nice".  From the looks of it, he just enjoys her company, her clinic, and according to his teacher, her strikingly good looks!  I haven’t met her yet, but will for sure make an extra effort at the next Open House!  Needless to say, we’ve imposed a new policy regarding nurse visits which requires him to rest at home in his bed after school on the days when he sees the nurse.  I’m hoping that will be enough incentive to keep his clinic visits legit!

Hey, Meredith. I vaguely remembered you telling Ali the name of your blog, and I found it! So great! I loved seeing pictures of your boys and your house. It is very big and nice and clean!
How’s your album coming? I finished mine on Sunday and I love looking at it. I’ve had a few weird reactions from friends who don’t really “get” the style or purpose of such an album. But what do they know, right? I love it (especially that it’s different from “my style” and not something I would have done without CKU) and learned from it, so that’s all that matters.
So, I would love to see the picture of us with Ali, if you have time. I want to show my husband that I’m best friends with a scrapbooking celebrity.
I sent my in-laws home today, so I’m back to “normal” life. Luckily Connor has preschool tomorrow, so I’ll get a little break. I think the hardest part will be getting up in the morning. I’ve been sleeping til at least 8:00 every morning with my mother-in-law entertaining Connor. I better get to bed early tonight.
Love your blog. I’ll be sure to check in and see what you’re up to every now and then.
Your Week in the Life Friend,
    Laura
p.s. The Bronze Bow is one of my mom’s favorite books. I don’t think I’ve read it. I guess I should.
